Reward: Cursed Idol

This reward is for completing the follow-on mission of the Amazon Trek mission. After picking up the archaeologist, follow the mission compass to a spot about 8 miles away. From here, head south until you come to a river. This is where the hidden temple is. It's pretty hard to miss the serpent statues lining the entrance. Land and taxi into the basin, stopping by the big rock to let out the archaeologist.
Now would be a good time to turn around. If there's not enough room you can always put down the gear and taxi onto the grass. Otherwise try using just one engine and applying full rudder. Stop by the rock to let her get back on. As soon as she hops in, fire-wall the throttles and takeoff, avoiding the falling statues. (Now would be a good time to save.)
This is where the fun begins. Start climbing as high as possible immediately. The aircraft is going to pitch up violently a couple of times, just try to keep it from stalling. Turn towards the airport and keep climbing. In a moment, your generators will fail. Then you'll lose your #2 engine to an oil leak. Do what your copilot says and keep heading for the airport. Soon after you'll lose your barometric and eventually radio altimeter.
About two miles out from the airport, your #1 engine will catch fire. At this point you'll have to manually lower the gear and line up with the runway. You may want to circle to lose altitude. As long as you set it down safely on the runway (or possibly in the grass nearby), you'll have completed the mission.
